Q. What equipment do you use?
A. SoundPrint prides itself on using only the best equipment. Brands such as Pioneer, Behringer, JBL and others are brands used to ensure that not only is the equipment stable and reliable, but that it also give you the best sound and lighting, no matter where your event is.
Q. Do I get to select what I hear?
A. Absolutely. We also recognise that the DJ himself must fit in with the event. Our team includes over 50 DJs and we are confident that we will not only have the right music, but also the right DJ personality for your event. This also means that we can match any required style of DJing for the event. From Langarm to commercial, from Deep House to Electro, we have got it covered!
Q. Do you only play music?
A. No. We offer a full solution for lighting as well. In our base packages we include some basic lighting, however, on request we are able to quote for all your lighting requirements as well as AV requirements. The success of our business is based on the success of your event or function in its entirety. With this in mind, we have relationships with additional service providers specialists who are able to offer any lighting, AV solutions or similar if we are not able to do it ourselves.
Q. How do I pay?
A. On signing of the quote, we require a 50% non refundable deposit for the event to be confirmed. The, on the date of the function we require the remainder to be paid. For larger events such as road shows etc are negotiated on individually.
Q. Can I bring my own music?
A. One of the reasons we are industry leaders is because we always ensure that a pre-event meeting is held to ensure we have all your music requirements. What ever specific music you request, we will make available through our extensive music libraries or we will source it ourselves to ensure that you needn’t hassle with the small stuff – that’s why you hire us. For corporate events where specific or unique sounds tracks are required, we will work with your agency or production team to ensure that all the correct content is there as per your request.
Q. How much warning do you need to play an event?
A. Although we don’t like doing it as it leaves to much to chance, we are able to pull it off very quickly – within a few days for smaller events of around 200 people or less. Bigger events we need at least 2 weeks. We do prefer to have as much time as possible for us to understand the requirements of your event so that you are not left disappointed on the day. Also, the earlier you come in the better for you, you’ll beat any price hikes! |
